Tim Bendzko (born April 9, 1985 in Berlin) is a German singer-songwriter. About national fame he achieved with his song only briefly to save the world and the winner of the Federal Vision Song Contest.



 



 

Life and work

Tim Benzdko was born in 1985 in Berlin-Kaulsdorf and grew up in the district of Köpenick. He attended a sports school and began to take an interest, especially for football. At first FC Union Berlin he moved up to the B-youth. By his own admission he ended his career as've primarily been the performance and not the fun of football in the foreground. In addition, Tim Bendzko suffered from an irreparable meniscus damage.





His musical career began at the age of 11 years with lessons on guitar, with 16 he wrote his first songs. After graduation, he began a study of Protestant theology and non-Christian religions the Free University of Berlin, he, however, ended after five semesters without a degree. Thereafter, he was for a time as auctioneer in the car trade.








2009 Tim Bendzko competed at the Talent competition sons wanted the Söhne Mannheims and won the place as a counterpart of Xavier Naidoo. Together with the Söhne Mannheims he played in 2009 in the Berlin forest stage in front of 20,000 spectators, a little later, he received a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment.
